About pbn.digital — Built by
SEO Practitioners, Not a Black Box

The PBN link market has an anonymous seller problem. You're buying backlinks from someone you've never met, placing them on domains you've never seen, with quality standards that exist only as marketing copy. We built pbn.digital to be a different kind of PBN service. Not anonymous. Not a black box. A named team, a documented methodology, and standards we're willing to write down and be held to.

That's the whole pitch. The rest of this page is the proof.

Who We Are

A named team with real SEO backgrounds. Not stock photos. Not anonymous avatars.

JD

James D. — Founder & Head of Network Operations

12 years in SEO, spanning affiliate site building, agency account management, and in‑house technical SEO for a publicly traded media company. Started building private blog networks in 2014 after the first wave of Penguin manual actions made it clear that expired‑domain PBNs were the only scalable paid link tactic that could survive Google's improving link quality evaluation.

Spent 2016 to 2019 primarily on the domain sourcing side — monitoring GoDaddy Auctions, NameJet, and DropCatch — and developing the TF/CF ratio evaluation method that became the foundation of the network's domain quality framework. Made most of the classic PBN infrastructure mistakes early (shared reseller hosting, uniform nameservers, identical WordPress configurations across sites) and rebuilt the network from scratch in 2020 with genuine hosting diversity across 10+ providers.

Particular expertise in Majestic Trust Flow evaluation for expired domains, hosting infrastructure configuration for footprint‑free networks, and the operational management of multi‑provider hosting across 15+ platforms. Wrote the private blog network guide and the PBN hosting guide from direct operational experience.

Why We Built pbn.digital

We've been doing link building for a combined 30+ years across affiliate, agency, and in‑house SEO contexts. James and Nina met working at the same agency and spent years buying links from other providers before deciding we could do it better ourselves.

🔍 No transparency on domain quality.

We'd order 20 links, get a list of URLs, run them through Ahrefs, and find DA 30 domains with TF/CF ratios below 0.40. Those metrics look fine from the outside until you understand what TF/CF ratio is actually measuring.

🖥️ Shared hosting footprints.

We could tell when a network was running on a single reseller cPanel account because the nameserver patterns were obvious from a 30‑second DNS lookup. SpamBrain can do the same check at scale. Networks that looked clean in 2021 started losing effectiveness in 2023 and 2024 as infrastructure detection improved.

📧 No accountability after delivery.

Links disappeared, domains dropped from the index, and follow‑up emails went unanswered. There was no replacement guarantee worth anything because there was nobody to enforce it against.

We decided to build a service we'd actually want to buy from. Documented quality standards. Real hosting diversity across 15+ providers. A named team. A replacement guarantee with specific terms. That's pbn.digital.

Our Infrastructure Standards (The Short Version)

Every domain must clear these before it's added to the network.

✅ Majestic TF minimum 12, TF/CF ratio ≥ 0.70
âś… Ahrefs DR minimum 20, minimum 20 referring domains
âś… Wayback Machine: 12+ months consistent niche content
âś… Moz spam score below 5%
âś… No deindexing history around major update windows
✅ Individual hosting accounts — no shared reseller infrastructure
âś… Nameserver diversity verified before domain goes live

The full 9‑point domain evaluation framework and 32‑point footprint checklist are published in the private blog network guide.

Company Timeline

2020 — Founded

After 8+ years of combined agency and affiliate SEO experience. Initial network built across 120 domains in Finance, Tech, and Health verticals. Hosting infrastructure set up with account‑level separation from day one.

2022 — Niche Sub‑Networks Added

Expanded to Casino and CBD niche sub‑networks after consistent demand from existing clients. Crypto sub‑network added following significant client acquisition in the Web3 space. Dedicated writers with vertical expertise assigned per sub‑network.

March 2026 — Spam Update Survivor

Several competing PBN networks lost significant placement effectiveness. The pbn.digital network remained intact due to infrastructure diversity standards already in place. Client base grew substantially during the same period as buyers migrated away from affected providers.

June 2026 — Public Launch

Launched the tools suite (anchor text generator, cost calculator, domain metrics checker, backlink recommender), agency white label program, and this site as a public‑facing presence for a service that had previously operated through referral and word‑of‑mouth only.

⚖️

The Honest Part

PBN links are against Google's spam policies. We don't pretend otherwise, and we'd recommend walking away from any seller who tells you the opposite.

What we provide is a well‑built product that carries meaningfully lower detection and devaluation risk than alternatives in the same price range, along with transparent documentation of how the network is built and maintained, and real accountability when something goes wrong.

Buying PBN links is a risk management decision. The risk is real. The question is whether the links you're buying come from a network that has genuinely managed the infrastructure and content quality factors that determine that risk.

We've written publicly about what those factors are, in more detail than any competitor has. That transparency is a bet that buyers who understand link building quality will choose us because of it.
